We are a company with deep experience in the steel industry, dedicated since 1999 to the service and satisfaction of our clients, implementing continuous improvement and technological innovation and staying at the forefront, now in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
Alfa Metal is not a trader reselling coils: we are a service center. That means material comes in as a coil and leaves as whatever your production needs, at the size, flatness and finish you specified. The real work lives between those two points, and it is what we have been doing for 26 years.

From 1999 to today's plant
The company was born in 1999 inside the steel industry, in the link almost nobody sees: the one that turns the producer's coil into material a plant can run without touching it again.
Today we operate in Tijuana, Baja California, with two process lines — cut to length and slitting — and a commitment that has not changed since day one: continuous improvement and technological innovation, to stay at the forefront.
Being in Tijuana is not an accident. The city holds one of the highest densities of export manufacturing in the country, and that manufacturing needs a cutting supplier that answers in hours, not weeks, and that sits on the same side of the border as its warehouse.

In the steel industry since 1999
More than two decades cutting steel. That experience shows where you cannot see it: in the setup that prevents burr and in knowing which material will move when you cut it.
Cut to length and slitting under one roof
You do not have to split the project between two suppliers. Sheets for the press and strips for the roll former come out of the same coil.
In Tijuana, not across the border
Being on the Libramiento means deliveries in hours, plant visits with no paperwork and a phone call answered in your own working hours.
Steel, aluminum and stainless
GI, EG, CR and HR, plus aluminum and stainless with separate handling so the surface is never contaminated.
Your size, not a catalog size
From 400 to 4,000 mm long and 500 to 1,350 mm wide. Cut to what your part needs, not to what happened to be in stock.
